Keep Luna County Beautiful (KLCB), a program funded by state grants and the County of Luna, has been dedicated to working with the community of Luna County for over 9 years to make our environment healthier, safer, and a more beautiful place to live and visit. The mission statement of KLCB is “to engage individuals to take greater responsibility for the improvement of their community environment.” To accomplish our mission, KLCB focuses on 4 goals: education, litter prevention, beautification, and waste reduction. Education is the cornerstone of KLCB. Our primary target audience is our youth. Developing and nurturing our youth into becoming good environmental stewards will have a direct and positive impact on the future of our community. Community involvement is essential to the success of the Keep Luna County Beautiful program.
