PROVISIONAL VOTING

When voting in person, if an election worker cannot locate or verify your information, a provisional ballot may be issued.

If eligibility is verified, the vote is counted the same as other ballots.

Provisional ballots can be eliminated by checking registration and taking advantage of the same day voter registration process.

If you are on parole for a felony, in prison, or a court has found you to be mentally incompetent, you are not eligible to vote or register to vote.  Please see additional information regarding felony convictions.
